Melbourne, April 27: Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly planning to quit The Pussycat Dolls to focus on her solo career.
Rumours are abuzz that Scherzinger, who is dating F1 ace Lewis Hamilton and is by far the highest-profile - and most ambitious - of the Pussycats, is planning to leave the group at the end of their tour, reports Herald Sun.
The singer is said to have already quit the girl group but will make the announcement of her departure once they complete their touring commitments.
Scherzinger's plans to move on from the group became apparent after the group's version of Jai Ho was released under the name Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.

Burglar had no part in messy Lohan home

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A burglar alarm led police to Lindsay Lohan'shouse on Tuesday, where officers found evidence of a potential break-in and ransacking.
Turns out, the mess belonged to Lohan, not the burglars, police said.
An alarm company notified police that someone tripped an alarm at the house around 3 p.m. in Hollywood. Police determined no one entered the home and nothing was stolen, but the mess inside the starlet's home prompted officers to ask, ``Is it normally like this, or did the intruders do it?'' said Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner.
Lohan was not at home at the time.
A message left with Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnik was not immediately returned Tuesday night.

Bollywood’s Multiplex Strike Affected

The multiplex strike in Bollywood has affected the multiplexes in Bangalore. Sounds strange, but true. With no Hindi releases and the regional films not doing well at the box office, the multiplexes in Bangalore are in a fix. The multiplex owners lament that the spiraling maintenance costs and decline in the collections are a major factor.
The multiplexes were able to attract the audiences for just four films - Junglee, a Kannada film, Ayan (Tamil) and Billa and Arundathi (Telugu). According to an official of the PVR Multiplex, “Only new Kannada, Tamil and Telug films are attracting occupancy ratios of more than 30 percent.”

The film industry is abuzz with the news that Ravi Chopra's BANDA YEH BINDAAS HAI, starring Govinda, Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen, is in deep trouble. Reportedly, 20th Century Fox has served a legal notice to Chopra for blatantly lifting the Hollywood film MY COUSIN VINNY and have demanded a compensation of Rs. 7 crores. True?
Sanjay Bhutiani, the CEO of B.R. Films, doesn't deny the development. "We have the email correspondence by people in Los Angeles to make the film. We have it in writing," he says. But, reportedly, Fox is talking of plagiarism. "Well, our legal people are looking into it. We should be ready with a reply in a day or two," Bhutiani adds.
